Christmas Jumpers 2024: The best festive picks for this year

With Christmas Jumper Day just around the corner, we thought we’d seek out the best festive knits for our creative community. From Gremlins to snowy beavers, we’ve got something for everyone.

Every December, millions of people across the UK put on a festive knit for work (or school) and make a £2 donation to Save the Children. Called Christmas Jumper Day, it’s one of the charity’s popular annual events to raise money for the children who need it most, i.e. those facing war, hunger and poverty.

Since its launch in 2012, the initiative has raised over £30 million. Last year, the charity received a total of £3 million in donations, with over 1.5 million children and teachers and 27,000 workplaces participating across Britain and Ireland.

This year’s official date is Thursday 12 December 2024—plenty of time to find a jumper that screams ‘Merry Knitmas!’. All you have to do is sign up, throw on your most festive woolly wonder, and join the fun.
